The Prodigy opens with a small mercy by making its ridiculous premise clear from the get-go: Moments after a serial killer is gunned down by authorities, his spirit is reincarnated inside the newborn of doting suburban parents Sarah (Taylor Schilling) and John (Peter Mooney). Allow me to explain, because I don’t want director Nicholas McCarthy’s feature to sound the least bit enticing, or appetizing.

But The Prodigy may be the first killer-kid movie to pivot on paprika as a plot point. There are two Children of the Damned films, four Omens (five if you count the remake), eight Children of the Corns. And as a PR/sales tool they just pushed out an update with change log “enhanced Bluetooth” lie. More than likely nothing was changed in this app/update. (So app and 50% features the bed is sold with do NOT work at ALL) Surprised to see the app is finally getting some updates, however the Bluetooth issues aren’t resolved in anyway.Įvery single time I open the app I have to either go to settings Bluetooth and reconnect to the bed, or crawl under my bed pull the power plug plug it back in and redo the entire Bluetooth discovery/sink process again, just to get the app to function at all. I’m sorely disappointed that the Bluetooth can not be paired.ĭecent bed, WORST APP and app is required One of the reasons I bought this bed was for the features you can only access on the app. I’m not sure if it’s the app or the bed, but my prodigy 2.0+ will not show up on my iPod 6, despite saying it is compatible and staring at it as I plug it in, for long after the light stops blinking. I like the app a lot, although it’s not as great as it sounded in the ad, mostly because I don’t bother with my own memory settings, the massage isn’t so useful, and my husband won’t let me use the alarm. Then a minute later I got a notification from the app to accept a request for the bed to pair! And the bed was out of pairing mode by the time I accepted. I gave up when the bed never appeared in the list and exited out of settings. The prodigy app was running in the background. I had the Bluetooth menu open waiting to see the bed appear as I reset it to pairing mode. Shame on you.Įdit: my bed finally paired with my phone.
I had thought that L&P was a high quality, more dependable and customer-centric brand and company. I remain disappointed, especially given the premium pricing of this bed. There is no documentation or help of any kind.

Had I known this I probably would have opted for a less expensive bed. Unfortunately the app/product doesn’t quite deliver. Anticipation of using this app - and the additional features it is advertised to deliver (beyond what can be done with the physical remote that comes with the bed), was a big contributing factor to my purchase of this very expensive bed.
